Racing at the Pebblestone Model Car Circuit
About every 5-6 weeks, I throw my home track open for some fun racing amongst local 1/32 and 1/24 racers, most of whom also race at Buena Park Raceway. The racing is informal, with the accent on fun, and the classes determined primarily by what is in each person’s box for the day.
The normal race schedule is :
Track opens at Noon sharp (not before !).
Open practice till 1:00pm
Racing from 2:00pm until we’re done or until 7:00pm, whichever comes first.
We generally run one or two IROC-style races, then inline cars, then angle/sidewinder cars, all non-foam tires please. If there is time at the end of the day, then open practice with scratchbuilts and foam tire cars will be fine. With the increasing use of NSR rubber tires, we will be separating cars using them into a sub-class with a separate podium. Fortunately my track surface accommodates both rubber and silicone without major issues.
Watch this space for announcements about the next Open Day.
Please confirm your attendance to email@example.com at least a week before the event.
